TBOO engagements are delivered as a single, start-to-finish project to establish the foundations of an independent professional practice.
The work focuses on shaping the structure and presentation of the business and putting its core materials and systems in place so it can begin operating immediately.

Suitability
In some situations, a simpler approach may be more appropriate for you — for example where only a website or limited materials are required.
Where this appears to be the case, we will suggest alternative providers better suited to that scope.
Engagement
A full TBOO engagement is delivered for a professional fee of £7,500 + VAT.
This covers the work required to define, structure and establish the business, including:
understanding your background and intended work
shaping the positioning and structure of the business
developing the written material explaining your work
establishing the website and digital presence
putting the core elements of the business in place as a coherent whole
Payment
Fees are normally paid in two stages:
60% on engagement
40% on completion
Scope
Where some elements are already in place — for example an existing company structure or written material — the scope of the work may be adjusted.
In such cases, the fee may also be adjusted.

Timing
The work is typically completed within days once underway.
Progress depends on timely input and approvals. Where responses are delayed, work is paused and resumed in the next available slot.
Certain external costs are paid directly by the client rather than included in the professional fee.
These may include:
company registration fees
domain purchases
website hosting or platform subscriptions
professional email services (for example Microsoft 365)
printing of business cards or other materials
This ensures these items remain under your ownership and control.
